Announcing...

Sweet baby Addie has arrived!!

Brad and Rachel are having technical difficulty getting onto the internet from the hospital and we can't go too long without pictures on the blog, so I (Jennifer) happily offered to put some sweet pictures on the blog.

The Wolfe family is doing great and are just loving their new addition.  She is a sweet little thing and loves to sleep and eat already!

Didn't waste any time putting some headbands on her little head.  Handmade by Rachel, you know!!

Turns out a 39 week pregnant belly is actually a pretty good headrest for a 3 month old baby!

38 weeks

I know everyone is ready for pics of baby instead of me....trust me, I am too....but this is all I've got right now!

I think they're bonding....

Lots of people tell us that we will treat our dogs differently once the baby comes.  Like, they won't get as much attention, or walks, or they might not sleep in bed with us anymore.  But anyone who really knows how crazy we are about our puppies knows that's just not true!  

My bigger concern has always been that Louie simply won't like the baby....mostly because he'll be jealous.  In fact, when my belly first started expanding, he was kinda weirded out by it and was all about Brad for awhile...but in the last few weeks, he's all about me again!  Now he's sleeping curled up next to my belly and even sitting on it.  I think he's bonding with the baby and they'll be great friends!

I've never been worried about Buckley with the baby...he's awesome with kids!  Check out this pic from last summer when Jennifer and Benjamin came to visit us at the house we rented by the river.

So...what will you be doing on July 26?

As it turns out, we will be having a baby, since Addie Lou is already proving to be a stubborn girl!  A recent ultrasound confirmed that she is perfectly content in her current position, which just happens to make her breech....so she will now be joining us via c-section shortly after 1:30pm on July 26, 2011.

A few noteworthy things that have happened on July 26th (just in case you're interested)....
