Happy Heart Day!

Every holiday feels different once you have a baby.  It's so cool to watch them experience it for the first time - and to look forward to how fun it will be as they get older.  I had so much fun doing a Valentine's day photo shoot with Addie - and it's going to be awesome a few years from now when I'll get to help her make Valentine's to hand out to her friends!

This Valentine's day, on Addie's behalf, I want to ask each and every one of you to be her first valentines!

I realize there are a lot of pictures here, but I just could not choose which ones to post - they are all so darn cute! All photos are, of course, courtesy of Jennifer.

It's pretty tough to get all 5 of us (me, Brad, Addie, Louie & Buckley) in a picture together.  But 3 out of 5 ain't bad.

baby uggs

Auntie Sarah got Addie some baby Uggs for Christmas and we love them!  Yes, they were a bit pricey, but they are super warm, really cute and they hardly ever fall off (which is pretty exceptional as far as baby shoes go)!

However, some people apparently think they are a bit much.  The very first day Addie rocked her Uggs, a table of ladies in a restaurant in Old Town Alexandria voiced their opinions on my sweet baby's new shoes a little too loudly...."Oh my gosh!  That baby is wearing real Uggs!  So unnecessary!"

Sorry, ladies.  But we love our Uggs!  And we wear them a lot!

My favorite photographer (and bestest friend), Jennifer, is taking a really cool photography class and she's had some interesting homework.  One assignment was all about motion, so she took these neat pics of our super fast puppies!

Buckley needed a break after all that running around!
