cold weather and cold ice cream

It will be nice when it's warmer outside and we don't have to bundle up so much to play at the park....but Addie sure is cute all bundled!

Even cold weather can't keep Addie from her favorite....ice cream.

Here's a few fun videos about stuff that Addie really likes right now.  Let's start with her absolute favorite...i.c.e.c.r.e.a.m....the word that can only be spelled in our house unless you are ready to provide it immediately!

Addie's next fav is nail polish.  She used to be content to let Mommy paint her nails, but now she wants to do it - sometimes for Mommy....

and sometimes for herself....

Have you guys heard of Sleepy's?  

It's a mattress store in our area (not sure if it's national) and they have a commercial that's been out for months with a version of the Beatles song "In My Life." 

 Now, some people like it and lots of people do not....but Addie Lou has been OBSESSED with it since the first time she heard/saw it - probably when she was about 12 months old - and her obsession has not faded....as evidenced below....

very merry christmas

We hope everyone had Christmas mornings that were as fun as ours!  We had a great time opening gifts with Addie Cake!  

It took her a minute to take it all in when she woke up.  She walked into the living room and saw all the presents under the tree and stuck that little baby lip out like she was about to cry!  When Brad & I explained that Santa came while she was asleep she immediately pointed to the picture that she took with Santa and looked at us like "That guy??!!"

But once she started unwrapping, she was a on a roll!  She was super excited about every single gift!

Gram got Addie a really cool Disney princess play tent and tunnel.  Addie wanted it opened and set up immediately, so we took it upstairs....and the chaos began!  I could post a nice pic of Addie posed in front of the tent, but this pic is a much more accurate depiction of what happened....

Addie is super into scooting her little buns onto steps, ledges, chairs - anything that's an appropriate height for her to sit down on.

it's beginning to look at lot like christmas

There's already a lot of Christmas spirit in the Wolfe house (and it's not even December yet)!

Addie is loving Christmas music, so it's been playing everywhere - upstairs, downstairs, in the car!

And she's always been interested in lights and lamps, so it's no big surprise that she thinks Christmas lights are really cool...

Addie Cake had a great time picking out our Christmas tree last night....

She thought this snowman was super neat....we hung out by him for a bit while she pointed and patted.

Then she posed for a sweet pic in Santa's sleigh.

And eventually we found a nice new Christmas tree friend to bring home....his name is "Francis Frasier" (a Fraser Fir tree) and Addie loves him...he even got a good-night kiss tonight before bed!
